Moi, the chef

This is not a blog about cooking, I promise. It’s just that it feels like I’ve spent the last days in the kitchen.

On Friday I took the time to do a Salmon and leek quiche for the Christmas market in school, like a true dedicated housewife. Saturday we made Swedish saffron buns and on Sunday it was time for chocolate and raspberry muffins. All for the little Christmas get-together we had arranged here at home yesterday with some friends. Where we managed to drink 2 bottles of champagne between 5 adults on a Sunday afternoon. I love spending time with Frenchies.

And as if that wasn’t enough I made a lovely risotto with shrimps that was totally rejected by the kids. Just like my yummy pasties.. If they are not careful I’ll start serving sand and branches for dinner. Seem to work better. Oh, beloved demanding daughters.
